Memorial Day Shines!

Welcome to all our friends arriving to the beaches of South Walton and Destin, FL for Memorial Day weekend! We're looking forward to a relaxing weekend of fun, sun, and sand.

For those looking for activities beyond the beach, consider some of these fun stops:

The Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park reopens this weekend after undergoing a $4 million renovation. Upgraded exhibits and animal habitats complement the new interactive programming. Dolphins, sea lions, harbor seals, sharks, stingrays, and sea turtles are but a few of the hosts that entertain the whole family.

Fudpucker's is ready for a big weekend and has added free shows throughout the day until 6 p.m. at Gator Beach , a wetland pond with a 100 live alligators! They've also added family entertainment in the evening to keep the family amused while waiting for a table.

Big Kahuna's has reopened for the season with more than 40 water attractions and The Track has everything from fast-paced Go-Cart tracks to a slower speed mini-golf course.

We would like to take a minute to honor all the military personnel and veterans with us this weekend. We are immensely grateful for your dedication and service.

Finally, we remind you to pay close to attention to the flag warning system as conditions in the gulf can change at any time. Red flag means there are dangerous rip currents and double red means the water is closed for swimming.
