Live Music Today!

For those arriving to Destin, FL today for a fun Memorial Day weekend, live music at the beach is a great way to kick off the long weekend.

Bud & Alley's in Seaside will be jammin' this afternoon with sun, surf, cocktails and live music by Kelsey Anna and Larkin Poe. Larkin Poe is made up of two talented sisters, Rebecca & Megan Lovell, who are charismatic performers, experienced songwriters,and accomplished musicians. Their musical style ranges from Folk-Rock to Acoustic R&B, from grooving Jam Band to delicate singer-songwriter – Larkin Poe is versatile, entertaining, and totally authentic in all that they do. Larkin Poe was recently selected by Southern Living to participate in their new video concert series, Biscuits & Jam. Tickets are $15 per person and available at the door.

Also in Destin, the Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation presents Concerts in the Park at the Village Green next to Home Depot this evening from 7-9 p.m. Today, The Mike Veal Band "Stump the Band – You Name It, They’ll Play It!" will keep you dancing to the songs you want to hear. Tickets are $8 at the gate.
