Sandestin Wine Festival, April 26-29

After a windy and beautiful weekend at the beach, we're already anticipating the area's next BIG event. If you love sipping wine from vineyards around the world in a scenic setting, the Sandestin Wine Festival is for you

Complete with white tents, flowing wine, gourmet food and live music at The Village of Baytowne Wharf in Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, the 26th annual Sandestin Wine Festival is one of South Walton and Destin, Florida's premier springtime events.

The weekend includes many special wine dinners, seminars by wine and culinary experts as well as the Grand Wine Tasting. Wine connoisseurs and novices are invited to sample more than 600 different wines. New this year will be an expanded Culinary Pavilion with a Mediterranean theme, wine celebrities and demonstrations from well-known chefs.

For those who want to enjoy wine while supporting local charities, the 7th Annual Destin Charity Wine Auction weekend will also be taking place. Drawing wine aficionados, gourmet chefs and celebrity vintners from around the world, funds raised through this weekend benefit local children's charities that make a strong impact on the lives of children in need.
