Best Beaches for Feet
Ok, so we're definitely biased here in Destin, Florida that our beaches are the best. So we enjoyed reading the
VISIT Florida Insider
blog
that ranks the beaches in South Walton as the "Best Beaches for Feet." We couldn't agree more.
The sand along our shore is quartz crystal, which washed down from the Appalachian Mountains over millions of years. Often described as sugar white and soft as talcum powder, the sand actually squeaks when you walk on it.
And as the VISIT Florida Insider concludes, after trip to these beaches "you will instantly become a spoiled-rotten sand snob." We can live with that!
